MAFCA ELECTIONS

From Dave Jones, 2010 Membership Director Phone: 650-960-2429 MAFCA is looking for dedicated men and women to serve on the corporation’s Board of Directors. We invite you to become a candidate this year for the MAFCA Board of Directors election. As a Director, you bring your experience, knowledge, and member’s interest to the Board meetings. You participate in establishing policy, provide direction and fiscal oversight to the corporation’s budget, participate in the management of the club, and represent and serve the membership at large. All clubs have those “natural leaders” who would make excellent candidates for Directorship.
Besides leadership experience or business world experience, skills with computers and other modern business tools would be appropriate.Any Model A activities or ideas that would be beneficial as a National Director also enhance a member’s qualifications. If you are a member with some of these skills, MAFCA needs your expertise! If you know MAFCA members who have these skills, encourage them to allow their names to be placed into nomination for the Board of Directors.
Five Director positions will be filled for the 2011-2012 year. Be one of them! To be a nominee for a two-year term on the Board, click on this link, print out and fill out the form and mail it to the address listed on the bottom of the petition. NOTE that all applications must be complete with all required information and postmarked by July 1, 2010.
