We just learned that former MAFCA director and former MAFFI president Edie Jones passed away yesterday, September 28.
A memorial is planned in October but details have not yet been set.

September 6, 2013 - MAFCA Store Error Resolved
Back on August 26, we reported a problem accessing the MAFCA Store. The problem has been resolved and you should no longer encounter an error window when trying to get into the store.

August 26, 2013 - Errors accessing the MAFCA Store ![[Image]](images/new2.gif)
Due to an administrative error on the part of our web hosting service, members accessing the MAFCA Store today are getting an error message saying that the site cannot be trusted.
Do not be alarmed - we have been monitoring this and there is no cause for worry. We are in the process of renewing the certificate of security. Watch the HOME page for additional information.

Think only the kids like Hubley cars? Former MAFCA President George Pope sent in a photo of his Hubleys surrounding a replica of his father's 1930 Gas Station. The photo and story are on the

August 14, 2013 - Sad News
Frequent contributor Clinton Osborn of Springville California passed away at the age of 72 on December 20, 2012. His 1929 Tudor was his real estate car and constant companion. It was one of the last working a's.
Those of us who knew him will miss his humor and wisdom. A photo of his Tudor will be the A OF THE DAY on August 15.

August 2, 2013 - New Video
I stumbled along this video, and although it's not about Model A's, it is about Model T Fords.
A group of Canadian Model T club members assembled a chassis in front of onlookers in under 10 minutes.

Chapters: Want to add some "zing" to your newsletters? Take a look at the work of last year's award winning newsletters
on the
Chapter Tips Page.
March 20, 2013 - Chapter Information Updates
On each page listing the chapters in each State or SIG, there's a option at the top of the page to send Chapter Information Updates, such as meetings and/or contact information,
to the webmaster. That form did not have a place for other information, such as listing the Chapter Web site, for example. The form has now been updated
to include a COMMENTS field.
Note that this form is NOT for changes in Chapter name or address. Please continue to send those updates to MAFCA Headquarters.

Today we changed the form for Chapter Information Changes that appears on each CHAPTERS page. The Chapter mailing address fields have been removed. Chapters may still use the form to change their meeting information or their internet contacts (name, email and/or phone). However, any Chapter address change must now be emailed to the MAFCA office in La Habra..
