This is an original, used Trico vacuum wiper used on 1929-1931 closed cars with straight windshields (coupe, tudor, pickup, fordor).

The Model A Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards calls this the TR-C1A wiper.  Trico calls it the RCX-1 or CX-1.   This is not to be confused with replacement Trico wiper KCX-1, which lacks the two screws holding the front, oval cover, to the wiper.

This wiper is in physically good shape but will need to be rebuilt.  Most of the rebuilding parts are included.  The rebuild is not for the faint-hearted restorer – it’s tricky.

When restored, this wiper motor should get full points in any MAFCA/MARC judging.
