1931 New Mexico License Plate
This is a 1931 New Mexico license plate. From my research, this plate was to be used by commercial vehicles (bus, taxi, truck) but it was never issued. Except for some surface rust and slightly bent edges, the plate is in amazing shape for being over 90 years old.
You may notice the two small holes on the right side. That is where the New Mexico weight tag would have been added. If those holes were filled, this could be used on a 1931 passenger car.
