Here in the Northeast, I was hoping Old Man Winter was heading north, but as write this message I woke up to snow covered ground this morning. Thankfully, by the time you read this we will have turned the corner and finally have some warm weather. I know I am looking forward to getting back on the road in the Model A.
The main MAFCA event this season will see many members heading to Pendleton, OR for the National Convention. This scenic region offer excellent touring opportunities, and Jack Remilard and the team have provided plenty of time to explore the area. Time is getting close, so if you have not registered for this event, just scan this QR code or visit:

While you are in Pendleton, I encourage you to visit with the MAFCA board members. We always enjoy meeting members at these national events, and you are welcome to observe our board meeting that will be held on Saturday June 6th where you can gain insight into how the board functions. I also encourage you to consider serving on the board as new candidates are needed to bring fresh skills and perspective to the board.
MAFCA has some new publications that will interest you. The 2026 Membership Directory is now available. If you preordered this book you should receive it soon. If you did not preorder, you can get your copy by calling the main office. This directory is a great asset to have in your Model A in case you need to reach out to someone local while touring.
Also in progress is an update to the Era Fashion Guidelines. The ERA Fashion Committee is finishing its work on revising the current guideline book. Once this is completed, watch for ordering details in The Restorer and on our social media pages.
As always please feel free to reach out to any board with questions or ideas. In the meantime, prepare your Model A for spring and enjoy the touring season ahead.
